CUT

At the centre of the work, a pair of scissors in relief becomes the symbolic fulcrum of the composition. Around it, a dance of intense reds, splashes and black marks moves instinctively and envelopingly, in a whirl of emotions and memories in motion. The light ground brings out the painterly gesture, while the golden frame adds a solemn, almost celebratory note.

The scissors, a concrete element amid abstraction, become a metaphor for a decisive choice: cutting ties, patterns and memories to open up to new possibilities. The everyday object is thus transformed into a sign of liberation and personal rebirth.
