The work explodes in a whirl of free gestures and decisive marks, where colour moves like a sudden, uncontrollable jet. The luminous white ground becomes the field of action for black splashes and drips crossing the surface with instinctive energy. Among these trajectories, fissures of bright colour open up like vital flashes in the apparent chaos.

At the centre, a solid black vertical form is the visual pivot, an anchor balancing the centrifugal force of the painterly gesture. 'Splash' is the snapshot of a movement, the trace of a quick, irreverent action that turns the moment into an image.
